An absolutely worthwhile purchase! The product delivers what it promises: very long illumination time, beautifully designed, easy to handle, etc. Great value for money! We took the lamp to a festival, it charged itself during the day and reliably lit up the whole evening/night. Very bright light that illuminated the entire pavilion, and it was easy to carry to the restroom by the handle attached, just great! Now it stands on our garden table and looks good there. Since it turns itself on and off depending on the light conditions, you don't have to worry about it. Clear buy recommendation!!

After nearly two years, the solar panel broke. I contacted Sonnenglas and immediately had a very friendly and benevolent interaction. The panel is being replaced. It's not often you experience such good service after such a long time. The glass itself is also beautiful and emits a very nice light. Things can break sometimes, and when you experience such nice service, you are very happy to buy there again.

We purchased the Sonnenglas in its 6th generation, one for ourselves and one to give away. The glass can be beautifully decorated on the inside with a handful of sand from the beach, a few shells, and two blooming blades of grass, creating a lovely vacation memory for home. The wire handle for hanging and the tilting handle for switching on create the impression of a simple light, typical of a product from a developing country. Yet, a small electronic masterpiece is switched on with the magnet in the tilting handle, which is integrated into the lid. The LEDs emit... a warm white light, and the automatic feature turns the light on in the evening. The mason jar and the decorations inside create a cozy lighting effect. Depending on the sunlight, the battery charges completely or partially during the day. In a test, the lamp lit up all night but needed two days at a slightly covered location until the charging ring was green again. Now, we only leave the light on while we are present. Then the daytime charge is more than sufficient. The company's recycling promise is very positive: Old LED lids, even from previous generations, are taken back and recycled. As a thank you, you receive a credit for shopping in the store. This way, you can upgrade your older Sun Lamps to the latest generation and have no differences in light between the old and new lamp.
