Celebrating Heritage Day at Sonnenglas®: Embracing Tradition and Unity
At Sonnenglas®, we take pride in the diversity and rich cultural tapestry that makes up our team, and this Heritage Day in South Africa, we had the pleasure of celebrating that diversity in a truly special way. Our incredible colleagues came to work dressed in traditional attire, each representing their unique cultural backgrounds. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of embracing and honoring our roots.
Heritage Day, celebrated every year on the 24th of September, is a public holiday in South Africa dedicated to celebrating the diverse cultural heritage of the country. From the vibrant colors of Zulu beadwork to the elegant prints of Xhosa dress, the day is a celebration of the spirit of Ubuntu – "I am because we are."
