From the world of SOMO

Inside every Sonnenglas. Shines on its own, too.

The same SOMO that charges in the sun by day turns any Sonnenglas into a lamp at night. Out of the jar, into the Light Carafe — or simply into your hand.

The story

In Johannesburg, light that travels was never a gadget — our first lanterns replaced candles and paraffin lamps. The Adventure Mount carries that idea onward: a multi-purpose adapter in graphite, clear or orange, 17 grams light, that makes the SOMO Classic flexible for any use — a mobile torch for camping and hiking, too. The detachable lanyard hangs it from a branch or tent pole, the magnet holds it to sheet metal, the ¼-inch thread fits a tripod, and two strap slots weave it onto a backpack. Once you arrive at the table, it simply stands upright. No extra battery, no cable — just your SOMO in a new role.

Frequently asked questions

More questions?

In the complete set, yes: holder and SOMO Classic come together. On its own, the Adventure Mount Classic comes without a SOMO — your existing SOMO Classic clicks right in.

However you like: lanyard around a branch, magnet on metal, thread on a tripod, strap slots on a backpack — or simply stand it upright on the table.
